Deputy General Manager of NIA, Awarded at the 2025 New Year Celebration of the South Korean Embassy in Indonesia
2025-01-03The 2025 New Year's Celebration was held on January 3 at the South Korean Embassy in Indonesia. This New Year's Celebration was attended by around 100 people from the executive directors of Korean-Indonesian organizations and communities. This event is a meaningful event that aims to be one way to strengthen the relationship between the Korean-Indonesian community and the South Korean Embassy.
In his remarks, Chargé d'Affaires Park Soo-deok said, "We will always remember the dedication and sacrifice of our fathers and mothers who have endured various sufferings and challenges in this foreign land, Indonesia. We have a great responsibility to create a better future for the next generation." He also added, "The South Korean Embassy will strengthen the cooperation of 'Team Korea' to enhance national interests, while protecting the rights and interests of the Korean people." In his remarks, he also expressed the hope that "We will be at the forefront in aligning policies in the food security, energy security, and downstream sectors which are the main priorities of the new government under the leadership of President Prabowo, in order to ensure a stable supply of raw materials and markets to restore economic vitality."
The event was attended by dignitaries, including Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the South Korean, Park Soo-deok; Ambassasor of the Mission of ROK to ASEAN, Lee Jang-geun; Chairman of the Korea-Indonesia Association, Kim Jong-heon; and other invited guests. In addition, there was a special session dedicated to honoring South Koreans who have made outstanding contributions to all walks of life in the Korean community.
The Ambassador Award, given to individuals who have dedicated themselves to the South Korean economic community and organizations, is an award given to individuals and organizations who have shown outstanding dedication and contribution in every sector, and NIA Deputy General Manager, Kim So-eun, received the award for her contribution to the Indonesian bus terminal modernization project.
